What are some cool freshwater fish i could keep in a 30 gallon tank?

I'm looking for some cool fish to put in a 30 gallon tank. I am looking for fish that have at least 3 inches Just because simply i'm not a big fan of having 1,000,000 little fish in a tank. Maybe just 2 decent size fish? I don't know but any suggestions would be Awesome! Thanks!|||If you're referring to "cool" as in nice-looking fish, then I would suggest a school of six tiger barbs and one red tail shark. The tiger barbs will provide constant activity and a feeling of "motion" to your tank, while the red tail shark will give the tank a sense of tranquil beauty. The contrast between the two types of fish is really breathtaking.|||Some fancy goldfish are breathtaking, and 2 would be really happy in a 30 gallon tank. They like cool water, though, so you have to make sure the tank can be maintained at a good temperature.|||well i would assume your setting up a coldwater tank there is a list of all the fish you can get for it on the link and happy fish keeping|||Personally, My first Fish was a Dalmatian Molly, they are very hardy (hard to kill. They stand up to even some of the worse conditions.) but I think Powder Blue Dwarf Gouramis have to be the best. If you have filter or air cycling problems, they live through it. They breathe air directly from the surface. You could keep them in a bowl if need be, for a SHORT period of time, (i would never suggest it though) It would be like sitting in a car full of smokers, with the windows up. Its unpleasant, but they'll survive. There are MANY different types, and they work best in pairs. but you can mix and match. i have two powder blue dwarfs, one fire red dwarf, and a tiny baby red dwarf. they are beautiful. here is a picture. :] hope i've helped.

OH and they do this cool thing, where if they want to stop swimming to eat or turn around, their bodies make a C shape and turn around.
