The low-cool setting in my evaporated cooler doesn't work?

Before it worked perfectly fine all of a sudden i doesn't; it only works in High-cool. It still has the same motor nothing has changed. Im I ganna have to replce the motor or the A/C control?|||Yep, fireguy's correct. It is most likely a burned out motor winding. You can safely continue to use it on high speed or go shopping for a new motor.|||the most probable answer is that there is a loose connection on the motor or part of it burned out. a two stage motor will have electrical leads for both high and low. frequently one will work but not the other. check both leads with a electrical tester. if one is burned out an replacement motor is only about 70 bucks.
